Japan Retail Fund to repurchase up to ¥10B of investment units

Japan Retail Fund Investment Corp. plans to repurchase a total of 60,000 investment units, or 2.25% of its total issued units, worth a maximum of ¥10.00 billion.

The on-market purchase will be from Oct. 17 to Jan. 1, 2018, with the units subsequently cancelled in the company's 32nd fiscal period ending Feb. 28, 2018.

The company has not repurchased any of its 2,667,198 total issued units as of Oct. 16, and expects the total amount of the repurchase to have minimal impact on its financial management.

As of Oct. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥111.94.
