EOG Resources Inc. on Dec. 12 named Julie Robertson as a board member, effective Jan. 1, 2019.

Robertson has been chairman, president and CEO of offshore drilling company Noble Corp. PLC since January. She previously held several management roles at Noble, including executive vice president and senior vice president for administration.

EOG also announced that Frank Wisner plans to retire from the board and will not stand for re-election once his term ends. Wisner was first elected as an EOG director in 1997 after more than more than 35 years serving the U.S. Department of State, including his role as U.S. ambassador to India from 1994 to 1997.
