AT&T names marketing head for Global Public Sector

AT&T Inc. appointed Matt Hickey vice president of Global Public Sector Channel Marketing.

AT&T Global Public Sector supports government and education customers across federal, state, local and international markets. Hickey, along with his team, will be responsible for the promotion of advanced communications services AT&T offers to these customers.

He will lead paid media, sponsorship and marketing across the company's public sector customer base, overseeing industry events for this segment of AT&T's business.

Hickey previously served as vice president of sales operations for the company's Business Solutions unit.
