Haruyama Holdings Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to ¥6.46 per share, a decline of 83.6% from ¥39.51 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥105.0 million, a decline of 83.9% from ¥650.6 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 0.8% from 4.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased 8.8% on an annual basis to ¥13.42 billion from ¥14.71 billion, and total operating expenses fell from the prior-year period to ¥13.30 billion from ¥13.68 billion.
Reported net income totaled a loss of ¥69.0 million, or a loss of ¥4.25 per share, compared to income of ¥499.1 million, or ¥30.31 per share, in the year-earlier period.
As of Feb. 6, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.01.
