Insurance moves: Willis Towers Watson names head of CEEMEA region

South Africa-based Old Mutual Ltd. announced the resignation of Ignatius Sehoole as a nonexecutive director of the company, effective Oct. 8.

India's ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. Ltd.'s board approved the appointment of Anup Bagchi and Sandeep Batra as nonexecutive additional directors of the company.

Bagchi is currently an executive director of ICICI Bank Ltd., and Batra is currently president of corporate center at the bank.

Willis Towers Watson PLC appointed Pamela Thomson-Hall head of the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, or CEEMEA, region and head of corporate risk and broking for the region. Most recently, she was managing director for international.

Willis Towers Watson also named Marisa Ruscitto technology sales leader for its insurance consulting and technology business in the Americas. Previously, Ruscitto served as managing director and led a global sales team at Risk Management Solutions Inc.

In addition, Matt McKechnie assumed the role of a consultant on Willis Towers Watson's claims consulting team in London. Previously, he served as claims MI consultant at Ageas SA/NV.

Willis Towers Watson also appointed Scott Blackard market leader for Georgia and Alabama. Blackard was client management leader for Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.

U.K.-based RFIB Group Ltd. named Elizabeth Jenkin managing director of client solutions for the group.

Most recently, she served as chief broking officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Aon PLC.

U.K.-based Chaucer PLC named Rajeev Menon regional treaty underwriter. In this role, he is responsible for building the company's treaty portfolio in Asia, the Middle East and North Africa and the Indian subcontinent.

Previously, Menon was responsible for developing Qatar Reinsurance Co. Ltd.'s treaty portfolio for the Asian and MENA regions.
