US court dismisses class action suit against InfuSystem

InfuSystem Holdings Inc. said a U.S. court dismissed a putative class action shareholder lawsuit against the company and two former executives.

The suit, filed by a shareholder in November 2016, alleged that the defendants violated antifraud provisions of the federal securities laws.

The U.S. District Court for the Central District of California dismissed, with prejudice, the suit against the Madison Heights, Mich.-based healthcare services company, former CEO Eric Steen and former CFO Jonathan Foster.

InfuSystem said the dismissal was due to the plaintiff's failure to file an amended complaint in time.
