Saga Falabella S.A. said its third-quarter normalized net income was 13 Peruvian céntimos per share, an increase of 8.2% from 12 céntimos per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 31.8 million soles, an increase of 8.2% from 29.4 million soles in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 4.4% from 4.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased year over year to 732.2 million soles from 703.2 million soles, and total operating expenses grew year over year to 694.9 million soles from 669.5 million soles.
Reported net income increased 5.1% on an annual basis to 35.0 million soles, or 14 céntimos per share, from 33.3 million soles, or 13 céntimos per share.
As of Oct. 28, US$1 was equivalent to 3.37 soles.
