Crusader Resources Ltd. said Oct. 4 that it was granted a trial mining license for the Querosene prospect within the Juruena gold project in Brazil.
The company has completed its 2016 drilling program for Querosene. Notable intercepts are 3.6 meters at 554 g/t of gold, including 1 meter at 1,992 g/t of gold, as well as 2.9 meters at 75.02 g/t of gold.
Crusader also said the intercepts from hole MD-12 at the Dona Maria prospect showed high-grade results of 8.25 meters at 23.71 g/t of gold and 1.5 meters at 76.69 g/t of gold.
"The latest results, from MD-12 especially, provide further evidence of potential extension to the north of the central zone and should bode well for the updated mineral resource estimate expected in the current quarter," Managing Director Rob Smakman said.
Once the mineral resources are updated, they will be incorporated into a scoping study for the development of the Juruena project.
