Gold Road inks native title agreement for Western Australian projects

Gold Road ResourcesLtd. said May 4 that it has entered into a native title agreement overthe Gruyere and Central Bore projects, part of the Yamarna operations in Western Australia.

The company signed the agreement with the Yilka people and theCosmo Newberry Aboriginal Corp., which also marks the first native title miningdeal entered into by the Yilka people.

With the agreement in place, the company will be able to submitthe state deed to acquire a mining lease for the Gruyere and Central Bore projects.

The company expects to complete the feasibility study for theGruyere project by year-end, which will enable it to make a final investment decisionon the project.

Gold Road will also be well funded to kick off long lead itempurchases and related activities for Gruyere following completion of the recentlyannounced A$74 million equity funding.
