VEON Ltd. said May 27 that it promoted Eugene Krazhan to CEO of its Beeline Kyrgyzstan unit, effective in June.

Krazhan is transferring to the Kyrgyzstan-based operator from VEON's Ukrainian subsidiary Kyivstar, where he is currently director of the business-to-business segment. He has held various marketing and strategy roles at Kyivstar.

VEON is a Dutch global provider of connectivity and internet services.
