Theservices are provided by CSOB, whose contract with the Czech Post expires after2017. Czech Post supervisory board members will meet Oct. 11 todiscuss the tender, but the selected tender winner may also need the approvalof the interior ministry and/or the Czech government, according to the report.

Meanwhile,the results of a tender for a new provider of insurance services are yet to beannounced, CSOB management board member Petr Hutla said, adding that the groupaims to provide both banking and insurance services. It submitted a bid in thetender, the deadline for which elapsed in mid-July, according to the report. Insuranceservices are provided by Ceskápojištovna a.s., whose contract also expires at the end of 2017.

CSOB,UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, and Ceská pojištovna are controlledby KBC Group NV,UniCredit SpA andGenerali,respectively.
