Manutan International fiscal H1 profit falls YOY

Manutan International SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended March 31 came to €1.36 per share, a decrease of 11.6% from €1.53 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €10.3 million, a decrease of 11.7% from €11.7 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue totaled €303.2 million, compared with €305.5 million in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses totaled €286.2 million, compared with €286.4 million in the prior-year period.

Reported net income fell 7.7% on an annual basis to €10.1 million, or €1.33 per share, from €11.0 million, or €1.44 per share.
