Deutsche Börse's April order book turnover falls YOY

's April orderbook turnover on Xetra, Börse Frankfurt and Tradegate Exchange across all assetclasses amounted to €110.2 billion, down from €137.1 billion in April 2015.

Ofthe total, Xetra contributed €100.6 billion, down on a yearly basis from €125.0billion, while Börse Frankfurt reported a decline in turnover to €3.7 billionfrom €5.2 billion. Order book turnover on Tradegate Exchange fell to €5.9billion from €6.9 billion in April 2015.

Byasset classes, cash market turnover in equities amounted to about €94.8billion, while the turnovers in bonds, structured products and funds wereapproximately €900 million, €1.1 billion and €100 million, respectively.Turnover in exchange-traded funds, commodities and notes stood at €13.4 billionin April.

Atotal of 19.9 million trades were executed on Xetra in April, compared to 19.1million trades in the same month a year ago.
