Chevron grosses $1.25 billion from debt offering

Chevron Corp. raised gross proceeds of $1.25 billion from an offering of 2.419% unsecured notes due Nov. 17, 2020.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital and redemption or repayment of debt securities.

Barclays Capital Inc., BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC were the lead underwriters.

ANZ Securities Inc., BBVA Securities Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., Loop Capital Markets LLC, Mizuho Securities USA LLC, RBC Capital Markets LLC, Sandler O'Neill + Partners LP, Santander Investment Securities Inc., SG Americas Securities LLC, SMBC Nikko Securities America Inc., Standard Chartered PLC, Williams Capital Group LP and U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. also served as underwriters for the offering.
