O.C.C. PCL Q3 profit falls YOY

O.C.C. Public Company Ltd said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to 23 satang per share, a decline of 28.4% from 33 satang per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 14.0 million baht, a decline of 28.4% from 19.5 million baht in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 4.2% from 5.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 5.1% year over year to 335.4 million baht from 353.3 million baht, and total operating expenses came to 325.6 million baht, compared with 327.1 million baht in the year-earlier period.

Reported net income decreased 28.4% year over year to 17.9 million baht, or 30 satang per share, from 25.0 million baht, or 42 satang per share.

As of Nov. 12, US$1 was equivalent to 35.85 baht.
