Andromeda Metals upgrades Wudinna gold camp resource to 200,300 ounces

Andromeda Metals Ltd. said Jan. 23 that it has upgraded the mineral resource estimate of the Wudinna gold camp to 3.84 million tonnes grading 1.62 g/t of gold for 200,300 ounces, at a 0.5 g/t gold cut-off grade, following the completion of resource estimates for the Baggy Green and White Tank deposits.

The Baggy Green deposit was estimated to have an inferred resource of 1.56 million tonnes grading 1.64 g/t of gold for 82,400 ounces, while the White Tank deposit was estimated to have an inferred resource of 176,000 tonnes grading 1.92 g/t of gold for 10,900 ounces, both at a 0.5 g/t of gold cut-off.

The Wudinna gold camp deposits, including the Barns deposit, fall within 6 kilometers of each other, are shallow and have potential for open-pit mining.

Future plans in the Wudinna gold camp include step-out drilling programs within the prospective areas to further grow the local resource base, infill drilling programs to upgrade the resource estimate status to indicated and allow for the estimation of ore reserves and the completion of an economic scoping study.
