Minbos Resources Ltd. kicked off auger drilling at its Ambato rare earth project in Madagascar.
The 118-hole program will target rare earth soil anomalies along a roughly 2-kilometer-long zone at the Ankazohambo prospect. A recent soil sampling program returned grades of up to 11.7% total rare earth oxide.
The drilling is designed to define the extent and orientation of the previously identified rare earth mineralization for a deeper follow-up drilling program, the company said Aug. 14.
