NBCU to produce content for Snapchat

Comcast Corp.'s NBCUniversal Media LLC struck a deal to produce content for Snap Inc.'s Snapchat platform, The Wall Street Journal reported Oct. 17.

The partnership will reportedly target the 18-to-24-year-old demographic with scripted short-form content. Other details about the partnership remain undisclosed.

Earlier this year, NBCU entered into a partnership with Snap for the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, allowing for the sharing of clips of Olympics content in a live story on Snapchat's platform.
