Target to offer Bark, Blue Buffalo pet products in stores

Target Corp. said Aug. 9 that it will offer items from subscription-based pet products provider Bark & Co. and pet food maker Blue Buffalo Co. Ltd. at its stores, starting Aug. 13.

This will be the first time Bark's subscription service BarkBox, which includes pet treats and toys like the Destroyer's Club, Best Toys Ever and New York City Treats, will be available in physical stores.

By adding Blue Buffalo's natural, wet and dry food products for dogs and cats to its shelves, the company has become one of the first mass retailers to offer the specialty food in stores, Target said.

Target also expanded its in-house Boots & Barkley pet product line to over 200 new products, with newer designs for bowls, beds and collars.

Additionally, the company announced that it will start selling designer pet merchandise firm Wit & Delight's items from Oct. 31 at select Target stores and on its website.
