Partners Group proposes former CEO for chairman post

Partners Group AG's board will propose the election of Steffen Meister to be chairman, during the company's annual general meeting of shareholders May 9.

Meister, who has been a board member since 2013, will replace Peter Wuffli, who has chaired the Switzerland-based global private markets investment manager since 2014. Meister, who served as CEO of Partners Group from 2005 to 2013, is now president of the group and a delegate of the board, responsible for leading and coordinating major business development initiatives and overseeing its executive management.

Meanwhile, the board will propose Wuffli to be re-elected to the board and appointed to serve as vice chairman.
