A.M. Best affirms ratings of Trustmark Group, subsidiaries

A.M. Best on April 1 affirmed the financial strength ratingsof A- (Excellent) and the issuer credit ratings of "a-" of , andTrustmark Life Insurance Co. of NewYork.

The rating agency also affirmed the issuer credit rating of "bbb-"of the holding company, TrustmarkGroup Inc.

The outlook for the ratings is stable.

The ratings reflect the companies' successful exit from the fullyinsured group medical line of business, trend of operating profitability, robustrisk-adjusted capitalization and diverse business profile, A.M. Best said.
