Firm Capital Mortgage Investment Corp. will pay a monthly dividend of 7.8 Canadian cents for December.

The company will also pay an expected special year-end cash dividend of 5 Canadian cents per share, taking the total dividend payout to 12.8 cents.

The precise amount of the special dividend will be confirmed before Jan. 15, 2019, which is when the total dividend amount is to be paid.

The sum will be paid to shareholders of record as of Dec. 31.

Together with the expected year-end special dividend, the company will have paid out 98.6 cents per share for 2018.

Shareholders of the company have the option to reinvest the dividends in additional shares and may purchase up to C$12,000 of additional shares per year, with a minimum purchase of C$250 per month.
