Bank Tabungan Pensiunan, Sumitomo Mitsui unit push back merger date

PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Tbk and PT Bank Sumitomo Mitsui Indonesia extended the closing date for their proposed merger to Feb. 1, 2019, IDNFinancials reported Dec. 12.

The previous closing date was Jan. 1, 2019. Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. owns 40% of Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional and 98.48% of Bank Sumitomo Mitsui Indonesia.

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking is a unit of Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Inc.
