The augmented reality game "Pokémon Go" hasofficially launched in Hong Kong, the South China Morning Post reported July25.
The city is the second location in Asia to have the game,after last week's rollout in Japan.
Meanwhile, CSL Mobile Ltd. and its premium brand 1010 saidthey will provide subscribers in Hong Kong with free, unlimited data to playthe game, according to the report. Any mobile data used within the"Pokémon Go" app is not counted as part of customers' monthly usagelimits.
CSL is a subsidiary of PCCW Ltd.-owned Hong Kong Telecom.
The game is a joint effort of , The Pokémon Co. and NianticLabs.
