OCC's Otting recusing himself from pension cases in MUFG Union Bank, US Bank

Comptroller of the Currency Joseph Otting recused himself from matters involving New York-based CIT Group Inc., Salt Lake City, Utah-based UBS Bank USA and Lexington, Ky.-based Central Bank & Trust Co.

Otting also recused himself from matters involving employee pensions or any investment decision in employee pension funds of New York-based MUFG Union Bank NA and Minneapolis-based US Bank NA, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency said in a statement.

Central Bank & Trust is a unit of Central Bancshares Inc., US Bank NA is a unit of U.S. Bancorp, UBS Bank USA is a unit of Zurich-based UBS Group AG, and MUFG Union Bank is a unit of Tokyo-based Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc.
