Domino's Pizza Enterprises fiscal H1 profit climbs 46.6% YOY

Domino's Pizza Enterprises Ltd said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 28, 2014, amounted to 30 Australian cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 32 cents per share.

EPS climbed 37.6% year over year from 22 cents.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$26.6 million, an increase of 46.6% from A$18.2 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue climbed 29.5% year over year to A$343.6 million from A$265.4 million, and total operating expenses grew 26.8% from the prior-year period to A$298.5 million from A$235.4 million.

Reported net income grew 66.8% from the prior-year period to A$29.1 million, or 33 cents per share, from A$17.5 million, or 21 cents per share.
