Digital currency trading and lending company Genesis has acquired the assets of quantitative investment and research firm Qu Capital.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Qu Capital was co-founded by Alex Price, Lucas Schuermann and Edward Yu. Schuermann and Yu, along with a junior staff member from the Qu Capital team, joined Genesis as part of the deal, CoinDesk reported.

Genesis is a unit of Digital Currency Group, which also owns CoinDesk and Grayscale Investments.
