IsoEnergy Ltd. said Aug. 2 that it signed an agreement to acquire the Geiger uranium joint venture, formerly the Henday Lake property, in Saskatchewan from Areva Resources Canada Inc., Cameco Corp. and JCU (Canada) Exploration Co. Ltd. for C$100,000 in cash and 1 million common shares.
The Geiger project comprises three mineral claims covering 4,188 hectares, 13 kilometers from IsoEnergy's recently acquired Radio uranium property.
Initial exploration efforts at the project will start in the second half of the year and may include a core drill program that will evaluate extensions of the mineralization intersected in a historical drillhole and other targets.
