People's United reports Q3'18 bottom line of $113.5M vs. last year's $87.3M

People's United Financial Inc. reported third-quarter net income available to common shareholders of $113.5 million, or 33 cents per share, up from $87.3 million, or 26 cents per share, in the year-ago period.

The S&P Global Market Intelligence consensus GAAP EPS estimate for the quarter was 33 cents.

Total loans stood at $32.20 billion, compared to $32.51 billion at the end of the linked quarter and $32.38 billion at the close of the year-earlier quarter.

Total deposits were $33.21 billion, compared to $32.47 billion a quarter ago and $32.55 billion a year ago.
