Luxottica, Tiffany renew license agreement

Luxottica Group SpA and Tiffany & Co. on Dec. 14 said that both companies renewed an exclusive license agreement, which states that the Italy-based company may develop, produce and internationally distribute eyewear under the Tiffany brand.

The agreement is scheduled to expire Dec. 31, 2027, according to the company release.

Reed Krakoff, chief artistic officer of the New York-based company, will oversee the creative direction of its eyewear products.

Avant Premier, the first collection under Tiffany's creative control, is available at its flagship store in New York. It will be rolled out internationally at Tiffany stores, on its online portal and across Luxottica's distribution network beginning May 2018.
