Online retailer Lazada to sell Apple products in Southeast Asia

E-commerce company Lazada Group SA said Dec. 8 that it will serve as an authorized online reseller of Apple Inc. products across Southeast Asia.

The Lazada platform rolled out an Apple "shop-in-shop" on Dec. 8 in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore, to be followed by Malaysia on Dec. 11 and Vietnam later.

Shoppers in those countries will be offered a range of Apple products, including the iPhone, MacBook, MacBook Pro, iPad, iPad Pro and Apple TV, along with related accessories such as Beats by Dr. Dre products. Purchases can be made using Lazada's installment plans.

Singapore-based Lazada is majority owned by Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.
