Walker Greenbank fiscal H1 profit climbs 25.8% YOY

Walker Greenbank PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended July 31 amounted to 3 Great British pence per share, a gain of 25.4% from 2 pence per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £1.8 million, a gain of 25.8% from £1.4 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 11.4% on an annual basis to £45.8 million from £41.1 million, and total operating expenses grew 10.5% on an annual basis to £42.8 million from £38.8 million.

Reported net income grew 21.2% from the prior-year period to £2.4 million, or 4 pence per share, from £2.0 million, or 3 pence per share.
