Telstra COO set to retire

announcedthat its COO, Kate McKenzie, is retiring after 12 years of working for theAustralian telecommunications company.

BrendonRiley, the company's group executive for global enterprise and services, willserve as interim COO until a permanent replacement is found.

McKenzie hasheld the COO position since 2013, in which she was responsible for Telstra'sfield services, IT, and network architecture and operations. Shejoined the company in 2004 and has been part of its CEO leadership team since2007.
