Winner Group Enterprise Q1 profit falls YOY

Winner Group Enterprise Public Company Ltd said its first-quarter normalized net income came to 3 satang per share, a decrease from 4 satang per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 13.9 million baht, a decline from 14.1 million baht in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 4.0% from 4.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell year over year to 344.1 million baht from 350.5 million baht, and total operating expenses decreased from the prior-year period to 324.9 million baht from 330.2 million baht.

Reported net income decreased year over year to 17.7 million baht, or 4 satang per share, from 18.0 million baht, or 5 satang per share.
