Atlas Financial seeks to shed reporting issuer status in Canada

Atlas Financial Holdings Inc. will apply to the securities regulatory authorities in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia for an order deeming it to have ceased to be a reporting issuer in all jurisdictions of Canada.

Atlas Financial delisted from the TSX.V on June 5, 2013, following its listing on the Nasdaq stock exchange. However, based on Canadian securities regulatory requirements, ongoing filings in Canada were required.

If the Ontario Securities Commission makes the requested order, Atlas Financial will cease being a reporting issuer in the jurisdictions and, as a result, will no longer be required to file continuous disclosure documents with the Canadian securities regulatory authorities.
