Bakersfield, Calif.-based Valley Republic Bancorp appointed Stephen Annis as executive vice president and COO of the company and unit Valley Republic Bank, effective May 1.

Annis earlier was executive vice president and CFO of the entities.

In addition, Garth Corrigan, vice president and controller of Valley Republic Bank, was named senior vice president and CFO of the company and the bank, effective May 1.

Both Annis and Corrigan joined the bank in 2010.
