Paris-based media and advertising research company Ipsos closed its acquisition of four global divisions of German market research institute GfK Group for an enterprise value of €105 million.
The former GfK customer experience, experience innovation, health and public affairs division will be included in Ipsos' consolidated accounts starting Oct. 1. About 1,000 employees will be joining Ipsos as part of the deal, said Ipsos founder, Chairman and CEO Didier Truchot in a news release.
Ipsos announced the deal in July; it was approved by the relevant authorities in September.
