TMX Group Ltd. made some executive changes, including expanded responsibilities for certain members of its senior management team.
The company appointed Jean Desgagné president and CEO of TMX global solutions, insights and analytics strategies. He was president and CEO of global enterprise services.
CFO John McKenzie will assume administrative oversight of TMX's equities, fixed income and derivatives clearing businesses. Glenn Goucher continues in his role as head of Canadian Depository for Securities Ltd. and Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corp.
TMX also expanded Cheryl Graden's mandate to include oversight of enterprise risk management as senior vice president, group head of legal and business affairs, enterprise risk management and government relations.
Chief information Officer Jay Rajarathinam will be promoted to the company's executive committee.
Additionally, Eric Sinclair, president of TMX market insights, is retiring at the end of August.
