Aldridge Minerals Inc. will acquire title to or have the right to access approximately 99.5% of the project area for the polymetallic Yenipazar property in Turkey. The property hosts gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc mineralization.
The company said Nov. 30 that a final pricing decision was issued on the last privately owned land parcel, with classification pending.
Aldridge Minerals said in January that it had acquired or had the right to access 91.1% of the project area, with a state-led compulsory land acquisition court process leading to a final land pricing decision on 13 land parcels in March. The company anticipated access to 93.0% of the Yenipazar project area upon classification of the 13 parcels.
In its latest release, the company said it submitted an application to convert the remaining 0.5% of the project area from pasture land to treasury land, which the company is able to access.
