Japanese tire-maker Bridgestone Corp. proposed Shuichi Ishibashi as its next CEO and representative executive officer, subject to approval at its board meeting in March 2020, according to a Dec. 13 release.

Ishibashi, currently vice chair, would replace Masaaki Tsuya.
