McDonald's Corp. on Dec. 10 appointed Ian Borden as president of international markets, effective immediately.

Borden was previously president of international developmental licensed markets at the fast-food company.

He will oversee all global market activities, including international operated markets, which cover all wholly owned markets outside of the U.S., on top of the more than 80 markets in the international developmental licensed markets segment.

Borden will continue reporting to President and CEO Chris Kempczinski.
