Webjet Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2014, was 10 Australian cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 12 cents per share.
EPS climbed 14.1% year over year from 9 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$8.2 million, an increase of 13.7% from A$7.2 million in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 11.5% year over year to A$58.2 million from A$52.2 million, and total operating expenses climbed 9.0% from the prior-year period to A$44.9 million from A$41.2 million.
Reported net income came to A$9.1 million, or 11 cents per share, compared to A$9.2 million, or 11 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
