Britishbroadcaster UKTV will launch its UKTV Play on-demand platform on Freeview Playin the second quarter of 2016, UKTV said April 6.

The UKTV Play app will give Freeview Play users access toDave (UK),Yesterday (UK),Drama (UK) andReally (UK)channels.

Users will also be able to watch previews of upcoming seriesand organize their viewing preferences via a resume playback function and aviewing history feature.

ScrippsNetworks Interactive Inc. and the 'sBBC Worldwide Ltd.jointly own UKTV.
