Deutsche Telekom to reorganize board

Deutsche Telekom AG's supervisory board has decided to reduce the seats in its management board starting Jan. 1, 2020.

The data privacy, legal affairs and compliance department will be merged with the human resources team by the start of next year and will be led by Birgit Bohle, according to a May 22 news release.

Thomas Kremer, board member of the DRC, will assist in the transition until his intended resignation on March 31, 2020.

Claudia Junker, currently general counsel of the company's legal department, will head the legal, compliance and data privacy department, and will report to Bohle.

Bohle and company CEO Tim Höttges will also join as new members of the data privacy advisory board.
