Charter Hall to buy Coca-Cola Amatil facility in A$45M sale-and-leaseback deal

Diversified real estate investment trust Charter Hall Group will pay approximately A$45.3 million for Coca-Cola Amatil Ltd.'s main production facility in Western Australia in a deal that reflects a yield of about 6%, The Australian Financial Review reported, citing an announcement by Charter Hall.

Coca-Cola Amatil will lease back the 4.3-hectare property in the Perth suburb and prime industrial precinct of Kewdale for 15 years, with additional three- and five-year options.

A joint venture between Charter Hall Prime Industrial Fund Charter Hall Prime Industrial Fund and Charter Hall Core Logistics Partnership will own the facility, the Dec. 20 report added.
