AXA names new CEO for Belgian unit

AXA named a new CEO for its Belgian unit.

Jef Van In will move from his role as CEO of to replaceFrank Koster as CEO of AXABelgium SA. Koster will step down as CEO as of July 15 but remainin an advisory role until the end of 2016.

The appointment is subject to Belgian central bank approval.

AXA said Koster stepped down following recent management andorganizational changes within the AXA group. The Belgian unit's CFO,Sonja Rottiers, is to leave the company as of Sept. 1, when its COO, AndréVanden Camp, will takeup a new role overseeing an IT transformation.

AXA Bank Europe Deputy CEO and CFO Emmanuel Vercoustre willchair the lender's management board on an interim basis.
