In affirming the ratings, S&P pointed to the company's businessposition, highlighting its healthy business mix and market position in the factoringand auto loan segments. The rating agency also noted Tanner's strong capital earnings,moderate risk position and adequate funding and liquidity.
The stable outlook, meanwhile, reflects S&P's expectationthat Tanner's business plan will allow it to improve profitability and asset qualitymetrics while also maintaining its risk-adjusted capital ratio and its adequatefunding and liquidity profile for the next 24 months.
