CBS Corp. tapped Dana McClintock to be executive vice president and chief communications officer.
McClintock, who previously served as the company's executive vice president of communications, will succeed Gil Schwartz, who will retire Nov. 1, the company said Oct. 11.
McClintock will head the communications group that incorporates public relations, media relations, and corporate and internal communications functions for all divisions of the company.
The news follows the appointment of Laurie Rosenfield as chief people officer of CBS Corp. amid a probe into CBS' corporate culture.
