EVO Payments completes offering of class A common shares

EVO Payments Inc. on Dec. 9 completed an underwritten offering of 4.5 million shares of its class A common stock.

The company used all of the offering's net proceeds to purchase limited liability company interests in EVO Investco LLC and an equivalent number of EVO Payments' class B common shares from Blueapple Inc. EVO Payments also used the net proceeds to buy limited liability company interests in EVO Investco and an equivalent number of EVO Payments' class D common shares from entities affiliated with Madison Dearborn Partners LLC. The class B and class D common shares purchased were then canceled.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Barclays Capital Inc. acted as joint underwriters for the offering.
