French supermarket operator Casino Guichard-Perrachon Société Anonyme will team up with Qarnot Computing for the installation of data centers in its warehouses and storerooms

The move is part of Casino Group's asset monetization strategy.

Casino and Qarnot's jointly owned company ScaleMax will operate the data centers, the first of which will open in 2019 in the Greater Paris region. About 20 other sites will be operational by 2023.
